Every writer dreams of being published someday, and this was my original dream. However, over time that dream has changed.

I am a published author with a new book from Beacon Hill, Direction, for which I am thrilled. And in addition to the hundreds of articles published, one of my stories is included in Chicken Soup for the Grandma's Soul, but even these triumphs are no longer my dream goal.

Yes, I am excited and feel blessed by each opportunity for publication, but the motivation is what is different. Today, I pray my words will be a comfort, a source of encouragement, and if you need it, a prod to move you from the ‘middle of the road'’ to the place God wants you to be- victorious!

Presently, I am busy promoting my book and offering day-seminars and retreats, but I have not stopped my other writing. I am busy writing proposals for four books: a devotional book, a gift book, a workbook styled Bible study, and a book based upon my Diamonds in the Dust luncheon presentation.
